CaroTudisco,
the newspaper "La Stampa" of Friday, 11.03.2011, on the front page, the "Hello" by Massimo Gramellini is devoted to statements made by Professor Cacciari in relation to his experience as mayor of Venice.
In other words, as reported by other newspapers and media, it cleared the citizens, in general, as tenacious "nag", proclaiming quote: "The so-called civil society invades every day because the office has harlot in the street, or in the casino coffee shop, or the beggar, or a rough road ..... army of infants (citizens) are unable to fend on any human affairs and earthly. And I (Mayor) answered: goes well, I make the order so stop breaking my balls. "
Gramellini with just enough irony, commented: "In fact, in the best of all possible worlds civil society invades the mayor's office to discuss philosophy and ... the major issues affecting the community. But in the world in which we have to live, people are turning to the auditor as an administrator to building on his desk and spill the small worries of everyday life, which - by the very fact of happening at the front door of the house - are those that preoccupies them more. Will be an "army of infants' , as named by Cacciari, but how, pray, should make do? Asphalt from the road just ruined? Lowering the gate alone at the bar too noisy? Finding another place on its own initiative or at work to a prostitute or a beggar?
Volunteers already makes up 'a number of institutional weaknesses, but the Office Rogne, at least one, remains the responsibility of the City.
Raising his eyes to devise a great project and then lower them to the ground to fix a hole: I'm not a philosopher, but I think this is the secret of a good mayor, as well as a good human being. "
Nothing I want to add to the lesson that there is "fresh, fresh" from each other Cacciari, a man of culture, good man and many other virtues possible ....... but (as he implicitly shown) miles away from the sensitivity and availability that must characterize "The Mayor".
I hope in the thought of all those who will have to decide for Santa Maria Capua Vetere this matter is considered and reject the temptation to be dazzled by virtue, even if they exist, are not evidence of commitment and readiness for problems and the troubles of the city's community newspapers.
a good mayor, in other words, in addition to being humble, honest and transparent, it should come from the "mess" and \\ or, if it was just hard to find, should be selected from among those who are more the next, avoiding the possible to use figures that, although bulging of virtue, sarebbero solo “prestate alla politica”.
La ringrazio per l’ospitalità
